About Redstone

Redstone was founded by Alexander H. Braun, MAI in 2006.   Mr. Braun is certified by the State of New York as a Real Estate General Appraiser, and is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute.  Mr. Braun is also a New York State approved Supervisory Appraiser.   Mr. Braun has more than sixteen years of national and regional commercial real estate appraisal experience.

His experience has included the appraisal of numerous high-profile mixed-use developments throughout New York City and the surrounding region. Mr. Braun has specialized experience in the appraisal of multifamily real estate throughout New York City's five Boroughs.  Along with his expertise in the New York City multifamily industry, Mr. Braun has broad experience in the appraisal of office buildings, retail centers, regional malls, industrial facilities and special-use projects.  

Mr. Braun is recognized as one of the leaders in the appraisal of multifamily affordable housing development and rehabilitation.  His qualifications include significant experience with LIHTC developments, a variety of HUD programs, state and local subsidy programs, and various program-related market studies.
